By signing up for a course offered by Westwerk Events ApS, you accept the following terms and conditions.

1 Payment

All prices are in euro. The payment is due 20 days after registration. In some cases, Westwerk Events ApS may offer payment plans where the total amount is split up in smaller parts. The first payment of a payment plan will be due 20 days after registration, and the next payments will be due after the course has started with one month in between the payments. The due dates of each payment will be included in the invoice.

2 Right of Withdrawal

2.1 You have the right to withdraw from the course without any costs until 60 days prior to the start of the course (the date that is stated in the course description).

2.2 Furthermore, you have the right to withdraw within 14 days of your registration, regardless of section 2.1.

2.3 In case you want to exercise your right of withdrawal according to section 2.1 or 2.2., you are required to inform Westwerk Events ApS in writing about your decision within the given time frame. You do not need to state a reason for your decision and we will refund all payments you may have made for the service you wish you withdraw from.

2.4. In situations other than described in 2.1 and 2.2, it is not possible to withdraw from the course and the full course fee has to be paid.

3 Changes to the structure of the course

We reserve the right to update the content of the courses if this is deemed necessary to keep the course up-to-date and relevant. Furthermore, live sessions can be postponed due due illness or personal reasons. Cancelled live sessions will be re-scheduled.

4 Certification

4.1. We reserve the right to withhold a course certificate if your participation in the course is deemed insufficient and/or you fail to complete the mandatory exercises or exams.

4.2. You acknowledge that the certificates are not validated by a government authority.

5 Personal Data

By registering for and participating in one of our courses, you confirm that you have read and accepted our data protection policy and that we are allowed to store your personal data during the course.

6 Disputes

Any disputes between you and Westwerk Events ApS are to be settled at the court of Sønderborg, Denmark and Danish law applies.

Terms & Conditions for Events and Conferences

1. Introduction

1.1 Our Events and Conferences  (or “Bootcamp”, or "Workshop") is organised by Westwerk Events ApS (hereinafter “Westwerk”), registered at Aaparken 24, 6240 Løgumkloster, Denmark. By registering and/or attending our events, you accept the following Terms and Conditions.

2. Registration and purchasing of tickets

2.1 To register for online or physical attendance, you must either purchase your ticket through this website or by contacting our support team. Your registration is only completed and accepted when you have received a written confirmation, either through our ticketing system or through our support team.

2.2 Westwerk reserves the right to cancel your registration or ticket in the event of incorrect or incomplete payment, utilisation of an invalid discount code, or any other irregularities.

3. Ticket prices

3.1 Westwerk reserves the right to change prices for the event at any given time, but changes will not affect tickets already purchased.

3.2 Payments must be made by either credit card, debit card or bank transfer.

3.3 If the payment has not been received by Westwerk within 14 days after the registration date, Westwerk reserves the right to cancel the registration and refuse admission to the event.

3.4 Westwerk may offer different discounts on its tickets. However, it is not possible to combine different discounts in a single purchase. In addition, Westwerk reserves the right to change or withdraw any discount at any time.

3.5 If your registration is rejected, you will receive a booking rejection email and Westwerk will refund any payments made within a reasonable time from the date of the booking.

3.7 All prices are subject to local tax regulations.

4. Refunds and right of withdrawal

4.1 Tickets purchased through our website or our support team can be fully refunded within 14 days from the date of the purchase confirmation. You do not need to state any reason for your wish to cancel your purchase. If you want to cancel your ticket and have your payment refunded, you need to send written notice about this to mail@westwerk.events. You will receive confirmation of any such request within 48 hours. If you do not receive such a confirmation, your request might not have reached us and we encourage you to call our service team. All cancellation refunds will be processed within 4 weeks and ticket prices will be refunded to your bank account.
The right of withdrawal expires after 14 days from the time of your purchase confirmation, and tickets will no longer be refunded.
You have, however, the possibility to purchase a ticket insurance that covers some or all of the ticket costs under certain circumstances in case you cannot attend the event. This insurance can only be purchased when ordering tickets through our website and through our ticket system partner. By purchasing such a ticket insurance, you are subject to the individual terms and conditions of the service provider and Westwerk cannot be held responsible for any claims in connection with the ticket insurance.

5. Changes to the event and force majeure

5.1 In the event of circumstances beyond Westwerk’s control, such as pandemic-related government restrictions or for safety reasons, Westwerk reserves the right to hold this event as an online-conference only. This decision can be made at any time. If you have purchased a ticket to the physical part of the event, your ticket will in this case be automatically converted to a ticket for online attendance, and you will be refunded the difference between your ticket price and the online-ticket price of the same category (super early-bird, early-bird, or standard). A refund of the full ticket price is not possible in this case.

5.2 In the event of circumstances beyond Westwerk’s control, it may furthermore be required that we alter the event’s advertised format, content, location and/or timing. Westwerk reserves the right to make such adjustments at any time. In cases where Westwerk changes the date of the event, you will be offered the option to get your full ticket price refunded. In cases where Westwerk changes the physical location of the on-site part of the event by more than 30 km from the advertised event site, you will be offered to have your on-site ticket fully refunded.

5.3. Other than in situations described in 5.1 and 5.2, changes to the event format do not entitle ticket holders to refunds or price reductions.

5.4 Westwerk is not liable for any travel, accommodation or other costs or expenses incurred by the attendees if Westwerk is required to relocate, cancel, postpone or alter the event in any other way.

6. Content, copyright and privacy

6.1 Any content presented during the event is the intellectual property of Westwerk and must not be filmed, copied or distributed without written consent.

6.2 To the extent that any Content is made available by us online, we reserve the right to suspend or remove access to such Content at any time.

6.3 By registering for or attending the event, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to our Privacy Policy. You furthermore give your consent that Westwerk and other event partners and sponsors are allowed to film and take pictures during the event, including pictures and videos of the audience and guests and that such material can be used without any restrictions.

6.4 At some events we may include QR codes with your name and mail address to the name tags. By purchasing a ticket for the event, you consent that these information may be used for promotional purposes by third parties provided that you allow that person or company to scan or take a picture of the QR code. Without your prior consent (to scan or take a picture of the QR code), your name and mail address will NOT be shared with third parties.

7. No reselling

7.1 All tickets purchased are for your own personal use or that of your company only. No tickets of any category may be resold under any circumstance. Reselling or transferring any given ticket without permission will void the ticket and the ticket holder will not have the right to access the conference.

8. Other

8.1 Westwerk reserves the right to remove participants from the event or the online event if the participants’ conduct can be classified as violent, unlawful or inappropriate in any other way. No ticket refund will take place in such cases.

8.2. Legal disputes are to be settled at the court of Sønderborg, Denmark.

8.3 If any section of these Terms and Conditions should turn out to be not applicable, the remaining sections will still apply.
